YES! YES! YES!!! The Academy did much better this year, in my opinion, and now I love it again for just this one oscar. :) Seriously, this is the best Bale's role ever! He got an interesting part, and he showed outstanding performance. I was so hoping that he will get this award, and here we go! And he is just mega sexy and was the most elegant at the Awards Ceremony in his whole black outfit. Just like Batman. ;) - John Hawkes in "Winter's Bone"
Haven't watched this one yet - Jeremy Renner in The Town"
I have to say I'm not a big fan, though he did pretty good in "Hurt Locker". Two days ago I watched "The Town" before bed, and then out of nowhere I was making out with him in my dream. Woke up, watched the parts with him again.. Nope, still don't fancy. Must be somewhere real deep in my subconsciousness then. :) - Mark Ruffalo in "The Kids Are All Right"
I didn't like the movie that much, and his character is the best part of it. Well, Annette Bening was great too, but he made the movie fun. - Geoffrey Rush in "The King's Speech"
I was kinda worried that he will get this oscar, and I had all the reasons to. His performance was amazing, and I bet it was very hard to choose the winner in this nomination. But to be fair, he already has one oscar, and Bale hadn't one till now.
